Tall Landscape Vase- 3T

This vase is hand blown using glass powders and chips for the background. The flowers are glass murrini that are created by Shawn. Each murrini is made from the cross section of a glass cane that has layers of color with an interior shape of a flower. The murrini pieces are put into a floral composition, sometimes known as millefiori, then picked up hot onto the glass background. After the murrini have been fused to the surface a layer of clear is added and the piece is blown into the final shape. Each piece is unique due to the handmade nature of the floral compositions. Each piece has three different floral compositions..
